The goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity of rural schools in the Gegharkunik region, fostering interest in environmental professions and empowering young people to actively engage in environmental monitoring and research. Thus, the EcoLab was created in the Karmirgyugh N1 Secondary school, fully equipped with laboratory cabinets, chemicals, scientific instruments, and educational tools for water, soil, air and food monitoring. The selection of innovative educational equipment was supported by a professor from the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, introducing modern eco-educational methods. In addition, experience exchange with teachers and students from EDUCHEM Secondary School in Meziboří further supported Karmirgyugh students in developing and implementing new environmental projects and researches.
